Arrivals
and Departure Policy and Procedure
Arrivals
It is the policy of the nursery to give a warm welcome to each child on their
arrival.
Entrance to Nursery is via a digit-coded door. Only permanent staff who have completed all relevant checks and 3-month probation period are permitted to enter the Nursery independently using the security code.
All parents will have the code to the main door leading into the building but not the code to the door that leads directly into the nursery.
Parents must insure that they do not give the codes to anyone else, if someone different is collecting the child they must ring the door bell. Visitors must ring the doorbell to notify us of their arrival.
Unauthorized persons are not permitted to open the door to anyone at any time. Anyone found doing this will be in breach of this policy.
To be in breach may lead to the withdrawal of your contract held with the Nursery.
All visitors must sign in and identify the purpose of their visit. (See students, visitors and helpers policy)
